Heartland Bank

While working at Moody Nolan, I had the opportunity to work on the Heartland Bank corporate office. This was a new build that required all new graphics and materials to be picked out to represent the companies history. Heartland Bank is a bank that started in Central Ohio in a farming community. Most farmers wanted to keep their banking local, so Heartland Bank was able to build strong relationships to help them eventually grow to 15 branches.

For this project, I worked on concepts and refining concepts during the schematic and design development phases. One of the main areas I worked on was the lobby wall that talks about their story and mission statement. The grid system was being used throughout the space, so we were wanting to incorporate it into this statement wall. I came up with the idea to use wood panels for some of the copy to help tie in the rustic elements found throughout the office space. Another area that I worked on  was a gathering space. This concept is similar to the wall that is featured in the lobby. The final production and install of this project was completed after I left my internship.

Hi, my name is Becca, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communication Design and a minor in Marketing. I have a strong passion for learning, baseball, helping my community, and food. I am always striving to grow as a person and a designer by leaving my comfort zone to take on new experiences. Recently I have discovered a passion for motion graphics along with environmental design. When I need to destress, I like to eat tacos, watch reality shows, and take pictures of my dog in ridiculous dog costumes.
