Aretha Franklin 

For my Interactive class, I had to choose between a couple of artist to create an app that depicts their music style. I picked Aretha Franklin because she is a powerful woman with a lot of soul. The final product was produced in After Effects to show how the app would look if it were being used on an iPad.

Aretha Franklin Process

To start the project, I researched Aretha Franklin and other R&B artists. The style that caught my eye was the use of flat imagery with bold colors. I also wanted to experiment with the use of geometric and organic figures to create a unique flow that represented Aretha and her music.
